Bending goyomatsu...

As you can see a big Japanese white pine with its good and bad points.
It has a good nebari and taper.
But as you can see the branches are really big and horizontal.

As you can see a very big almost horizontal branch, to make this tree interesting it was necesery to bring this branch more down.
this is the technique used with a saw.
The bend looks more beautiful and natural than with the v-notch technique.

Using some raffia for protection

Halfway there....

We had to lift the tree more to the right for the flow of the tree.
The final result....
